“Hello? Anyone Home?”

It’s all become clear to me now. I’ve been wondering why. Now I know.

Nearly 3 years ago, shortly before this “feeling” started coming over me, I somehow knew something was about to happen in my life. Something BIG. Something miraculous. Something….INSPIRING. And then I set foot upon that beach near Encinitas, CA. in December, 2009 and took a photograph of a scene that will be forever embedded in my mind. A scene that screamed FREEDOM. A scene that, as I gazed out at the vast expanse of the Pacific ocean, as I gazed at the dozens and dozens of seagulls standing in front of me in full view, I had no idea what it all meant. Before long, I would.

And so the day soon came, early one morning in April 2010, a mere four months later, when it dawned on me. What I had foresaw back in mid-2009, what I had seen with my own eyes in December 2009, was about to come to life. “Inspiration at the END….Discovering NEW Beginnings.” The seagulls? They represent you. Every one of you reading this. You’re there with me. You’ve suffered like I have. You’ve been beaten to your knees so many times before by life events, you’re wondering if you’ll ever make it.

You’re the downtrodden. The weak. The misfits and outcasts of society. Victims, either of your own doing or at someone else’s hands. You’re all hurting. You’ve experienced pain and heart-breaking tragedy in your life. You’re looking for something, ANYTHING really, you can hold onto. Something that’s real. Something with substance. Something you can cling to, rely on, depend on as a means to get up each day and say; “I’m worth it. I’m not giving up. I’m pushing forward. I’m going to make it.”

That “something”, or rather someone in this instance, is me. Yes, you heard right. Me. Make no mistake, however, I don’t mean that in a boastful manner. I’m certainly not perfect. No one is. But from where I’ve come, from what I’ve seen and experienced in this lifetime, over a half-century on this rock called “Earth”, I know now what my purpose and destiny is. To gather all of my experiences, both good and bad, all the lessons that I’ve learned from them and pass them on to you. But it’s more than that. I’m not just a messenger. I’m in your life as more than just a passing ship in the night. I’m here to stay with you, to guide you, to help you, to keep you moving.

That’s why late last year, I finally took a leap of faith. A leap into the unknown, a world I never dreamed I’d be in before, one that requires faith and courage, a world better known as “Life Coaching”, but one I prefer to call personal mentoring and guidance. You may ask, “What are your credentials to be in this profession?” Answer? “The same credentials you have. Life.” The only difference between you and I is I’ve been called upon to do it by an unseen power, utilizing the gifts that He’s given me.”

I’ve been gently beating the drum. Now it’s growing louder. I’m at your door. I’m knocking. Are you going to answer it? Are you willing to do whatever is necessary, to take whatever steps you have to, to invest in yourself to take back that which is rightfully yours? It’s called your LIFE! Look, I know you’re here for a reason. I’m also fully aware that the audience I attract doesn’t have a wealth of resources to take advantage of what I have to offer. That’s why I’m willing to do whatever it takes as well. Up to and including offering my help at no cost to those who can prove they don’t have the resources, as well as special concessions on terms to others. I’ve already done it! So why are you waiting? Answer the door. Because I’m not going anywhere. I’m here for YOU.

Just where do I turn to accept life as it is now. The environment I live in is hostile and unhealthy for me. Much to be grateful for, yet I live in sorrow.

You don’t have to Rain. You DO have a choice. It’s up to you. Can it be that simple? YES, it most certainly can.
